People First was started in October 2004 by
Connie Robinson.
Connie began her career at 19 by providing
direct care to members. Over the years she has seen a shift in the focus of
companies from the actual care of the members to maintaining profits. In 2004
she resigned her administrative position and set about opening a business that
would bring the focus back to where it belongs-with the people, and People First
was created. This attitude is extended not only to the members but also the
families and the caregivers who work with them.
Linda
Gilliland is People First's Program Director.
Linda is a parent of a wonderful young man that we provide services for.
Being a parent of a child with special needs coupled with her past
experience in business as well as over 5 years with the AZ Office for
Children with Special Health Care Needs and Tri City Partnership make her a valuable member of
our family.

People First since 2004. Some of her past work experience include: Four years
as an instructor for the Red Cross and 7 years with the AZ Office for
Children with Special Health Care Needs and a Parent Leader with Tri
City Partnership. She brings knowledge as
well as real life experience to this position.
Jocelyn Kilmer is our DTA Coordinator for our new DTA next door. Jocelyn
has been a caregiver here at People First and we are excited to have her take
the lead on our new Day Program.

Disabilities and Management skills with home and community based services. She
also has extensive experience working directly with individuals with
